The Business & Professional Women Makati, PTC-CSJ Foundation, Inc., and the Sweden Alumni Network Philippines, bring this series of events to raise awareness on the impacts of plastic accumulation.

A Film

The documentary, "A Plastic Ocean," shows the harsh realities of how the revolutionary product of the 1930’s is accumulating exponentially, polluting and contributing to the poisoning of the planet, and that this is eventually leading back to the food chain, building toxicity and affecting the overall well-being of the entire human race. Every year, 300 million tons of plastic is produced and 8 million tons end up in the ocean.

An Installation

It is possible to live more sustainably. A sustainable living installation will show the audience products and services that use sustainably sourced and produced materials, their practical applications in the homes, and how/where they can be accessed.

A Conversation

The movie serves as a platform to inform and educate on the impacts of plastic waste accumulation. Through this, the goal is to generate discussions aimed to engage leaders and participants, and inspire them to take action and create sustainable solutions in their own industry and community.
